Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 19, 2026

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information Devonwood One collects, how we use it, and the choices you have — in plain language.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to coordinate care for your home:

  • Name — so we know who we're helping.
  • Address — the property we're servicing.
  • Email — to send confirmations and updates.
  • Phone — to reach you about your requests and appointments.
  • Property information — details about your home and its systems that help us route the right service.
  • Service requests — what you've asked us to help with and its status.
  • Photos and documents you submit — images or files you share to describe an issue or your home.
  • Website analytics — general, aggregated usage data that helps us improve the site.
  • Cookies — small files that keep you signed in and remember your preferences.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Understand and fulfill your service requests.
  • Coordinate the right Certified Partner for the job.
  • Keep you informed about scheduling, progress, and follow-up.
  • Maintain your home's records so future service is faster and more informed.
  • Operate, secure, and improve our website and services.

Sharing with Certified Partners

We share your information with a Certified Partner only when necessary to complete a service you've requested — for example, your name, address, and a description of the work so they can arrive prepared. We share the minimum needed for the job. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

Text messages (SMS)

Providing a phone number alone does not constitute consent. Homeowners opt in by entering their mobile phone number and affirmatively checking the unchecked-by-default SMS consent checkbox on the Devonwood One SMS opt-in web form at https://devonwoodone.com/sms. You can decline and still use Devonwood One. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

When you do opt in, you may receive service and customer-care messages about your requests, appointments, technician updates, estimates, payments and completed work. Certified Partners and their business contacts also receive operational dispatch messages. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for assistance. We do not send marketing texts.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We share the information needed to complete your service with the Certified Partner doing the work, and with the providers that deliver our messages on our behalf — never for their own marketing.

We keep a record of how and when you opted in — the date, the source, and who recorded it — so we can show that consent was genuinely given. See our Terms of Service for the full SMS terms.

Email

We use email to send confirmations, updates, and information related to your requests. You can opt out of non-essential emails at any time; we may still send you essential messages about active service.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand general site usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; some features may not work properly without them.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, maintain your home's records, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

Your rights and choices

You can:

  • Access or update your personal information.
  • Request a copy of the information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep.
  • Opt out of text messages (reply STOP) or non-essential emails.

To make a request, contact us using the details below.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to keep your information safe. Learn more on our Security page.
