Terms of Service

Last updated: August 19, 2026

These terms explain how Devonwood One works and what you can expect from us. By using our website or requesting services, you agree to them.

What Devonwood One does

Devonwood One is a concierge for your home. You tell us what your home needs, and we coordinate qualified professionals to help — from repairs and maintenance to renovations — and keep the record connected to your home.

We coordinate independent Certified Partners

The services themselves are performed by independent, vetted service providers we call Certified Partners. Devonwood One arranges and coordinates the work; the Certified Partners are independent businesses, not employees or agents of Devonwood One. We work to connect you with reputable professionals, and you may decline any partner or quote.

Quotes and pricing

Quotes are estimates based on the information available and may change if the scope of work changes or conditions differ from what was described. We'll communicate pricing before work begins whenever possible. You are responsible for reviewing and approving quotes before work proceeds.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information about your home and the work you need.
  • Provide safe, timely access to the property for scheduled service.
  • Review and approve quotes and scope before work begins.
  • Communicate promptly about scheduling, changes, or concerns.

Scheduling

We coordinate appointment times with you and the assigned Certified Partner. Timing depends on partner availability and can be affected by weather, parts, and other factors outside our control.

Cancellations

Let us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Some Certified Partners may charge a cancellation or trip fee for late changes; we'll let you know when that applies.

Text messages (SMS)

Devonwood One sends service and customer-care text messages — appointment confirmations and reminders, scheduling changes, technician en-route and arrival updates, job status, estimates and approvals, payment links and receipts, completion follow-up, review requests, and replies from our team when you contact us. We also send operational dispatch and job-assignment messages to Certified Partners and their business contacts.

Providing your mobile number alone does not constitute consent to receive text messages. Homeowners consent by entering their mobile number and affirmatively checking the unchecked-by-default SMS consent checkbox at https://devonwoodone.com/sms. Consent is not a condition of purchase and is not required to use Devonwood One; you can ask us to reach you by phone or email instead.

Message frequency varies and depends on your activity — for example how many requests, appointments and invoices you have with us. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP at any time to opt out of text messages. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at (860) 321-0946. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.

Emergency services

Devonwood One is not an emergency service. If you have a life-threatening emergency, a fire, a gas leak, or another situation that puts people or property at immediate risk, call 911 or your local emergency and utility lines first. We coordinate non-emergency and urgent home services, but we cannot guarantee immediate response.

No guarantee of availability

We do our best to match you with a Certified Partner quickly, but we cannot guarantee that a partner will be available for any specific service, timeframe, or location.

Payment terms

Payment terms for services are communicated as part of your quote or agreement for the work. You're responsible for paying for services you approve, according to those terms.

Limitation of liability

Devonwood One coordinates services performed by independent Certified Partners and provides the website and platform on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Devonwood One and WeHired, Inc. are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability relating to the platform is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, for the service at issue. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Intellectual property

The Devonwood One name, logo, website, and content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. You may use the site for its intended purpose but may not copy, resell, or misuse our content or brand without permission.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
